Girona Cycling Including

Girona Cycling Inclusive has it all. Together with Cycling room De Meet we organize a unique cycling trip. During the first days it takes place Sea Otter Europe Event place. With various events and a large expo, this is the place for both racing cyclists and gravel riders. This unity is also reflected in the accommodation: we spend the night together in the beautiful country house Can Tapis.

Why is this trip called Girona Cycling Inclusive? In addition to the fact that both road and off-road disciplines are covered, cyclists of all levels are welcome. Whether you are a Sea Otter racer or just come for a cycling holiday: everyone is welcome! In addition, all food and regular drinks are included. We even have a swimming pool. All you have to do is enjoy the beautiful surroundings and the climbs around Girona while you cycle!

You arrive at Girona airport, the train station or directly at the house. If possible, we will pick you up if necessary. After arriving at the beautiful country house you can relax, have something to eat and enjoy the swimming pool.

Prepare your bike (or pick up your rental bike). If you have time to spare, you can loosen up your legs with a short ride.
Your journey has begun!

We're settled and ready for a ride. Time for a leisurely exploration to enjoy the Sea Otter Europe Event and Expo. If you participate in a competition: good luck!

We ride a loop to and from Girona, for both road cyclists and gravel riders. In Girona there is time to see some sights.

On to the next beautiful loop! With our racing bikes we head north for the climb of the majestic Santuari de la Mare de Déu del Mont.

The gravel riders follow the starting routes of the familiar The Traka gravel event northeast of Girona.

After a delicious breakfast we get ready for another ride in this cycling paradise. The road cyclists set course for the most famous climb in the region: Rocacorba. With a few steep sections, this is a nice first challenge. The view at the top is a fantastic reward.

We ride over the gravel bikes Via Verde towards Banyoles and a little further. These are old railway lines that have been transformed into beautiful gravel paths.

Together we enjoy coffee and cake at Lake Banyoles!

Today we drive east. We start with a flatter approach, followed by hilly forests later in the ride. In this national park we find some of the favorite routes of the major (gravel) events in and around Girona. It's up and down, left and right all day long!

These forests are also home to some beautiful paved roads just waiting to be explored…

Time for the queen stage! Today we head to the coast for the famous coastal loop. It is often said that this is the most beautiful coastal road in Europe. It is constantly up and down, left and right; no meter here is flat or straight.

The gravel route in this direction is often labeled as one of the best gravel rides in the region. Take plenty of moments to enjoy the beautiful landscape during this last day on the bike. Let's go!

Time to go, of course only after breakfast. We will give you a packed lunch and, if necessary and possible, take you to the airport or train station. Hopefully we can all look back on a great week with beautiful rides and new friends. An experience you will never forget!

Until next time!
